Bug#33647: dpkg: dpkg segfaults with various packages

Package: dpkg
Version: 1.4.1.1

On my system dpkg segfaults when unpacking either of the follwing packages:
libpam0g_0.66-3.deb
xbase_3.3.2.3a-10.deb
xemacs20-support_20.4-13.deb
emacs20_20.3-7.deb

At first I wondered if the packages had been corrupted during the
download, but a fresh downloaded libpam0g_0.66-3.deb package crashes
too.

Perhaps a package integrity checker would be nice.

I also noticed segfaults when I tried a 'dpkg --info' on a nonexistent
package.

Thanks in advance,

Florian Laws
