I have a package put together already and DESPERATELY need x86-based
developers to test it before I upload it to replace the current binutils.
It's in my dir on master (~chris/binutils) and also up for ftp at:
beezer.med.miami.edu:/pub/chris/binutils-test
PLEASE test it as soon as you can....I want to get this out of the way to
move on to some egcs problems we're having also.

Hehehehe...no, it's not those. We've got big patches in the works for
that stuff to be supported on Alphas (it breaks miserably...we need kernel
and glibc patches for it to work right). It seems to be dying somewhere
in the area of the package list comparison it does before installing a
package. It's hard to describe, but I have strace output available if
it'll help.
