Slightly more verbose:

Due to changes in the Linux kernel the probing of SCSI devices is no
longer deterministic. This could be an issue for installations that
rely on the disk probing order. Two possible alternatives using
links in /dev/disk/by-path or an udev rule are suggested in this
    Linux Kernel Mailing List post.
