Yes.  It is very important to mention.  The udev README.Debian says
that new-style (not eth*, wlan*) interface names are required
under buster.  If this is true, anyone upgrading a stretch system 
that was upgraded from wheezy will have networking break, badly.

I will see if I can get you something next week.  I started,
but am unable to finish right now.

I am no expert on this.  I hope to provide a starting point for
someone else to verify and build upon.
