Package: release-notes Severity: important When not using k/g/lightdm the consolekit session is not considered active which makes many parts of the system unusable. Reading the bug reports (e.g. http://bugs.debian.org/598150 or http://bugs.debian.org/615020) I do not think this will be fixed in wheezy. So please include a paragraph about this in the "Issues to be aware of for wheezy" chapter that suggests switching dm. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (650, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash
