I've changed it to:

"Sometimes, changes introduced in a new release  have side-effects we
cannot reasonably avoid, or they expose bugs somewhere else."

Hopefully this is clearer.

I'm thus closing this bug. If you feel that the bug is still present please
propose alternate wording.
