Package: release-notes
Severity: normal
Lenny will no longer include Bind 8. There is no fully automatic
upgrade path from 8 to 9. bind has already been deprectated in
README.Debian in Etch, but it should probably be documented that
it is replaced by the bind9 package and requires manual updating.
(Alternatively it could be added to the Etch release notes, so that
the upgrade from bind to bind9 takes place during Etch's life time,
I'd leave to up to you.)
Cheers,
Moritz
