No. this would require special actions on the server. How would you
check that make runs on www-master by checking the hostname?

This does not happen as the target update-po isn't called by default.
Each translation is more or less independent of the English document.
The binding happens *only* with make update-po.

This means also that it's no problem to continue fixing typos in en/.
Translations are not affected by it!

Why not just wait for Etch?
