Bug#177523: marked as done (debian-policy: mom says: no wasteful trailing whitespace in logfiles, etc.)

    Lintian cannot check for this. Instead, you can file a wishlist bug on
    debian-policy so that it gets noted in the Policy.

one example check is grep \ $ /var/log/syslog ...
