Licences for documentation

I'm trying to make an informed opinion about the best licence for
documentation (not software). There is apparently no Debian policy on that
subject, apart from the fact that DDP documents must be DFSG-free.

Does anyone has a list of pros _and cons_ for:

OpenContent <http://www.opencontent.org/home.shtml>

GPL <http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html>

Other licences? I noticed the Samba book uses another licence <http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/samba/chapter/licenseinfo.html>.
