What is the preferred way to ask for large numbers of arch-specific removals?
Hello Archive team,
CCing debian-devel as other people might find the answer useful.
I am preparing to ask for the removal of hundreds of packages on
architectures that are not 64-bit and little-endian. (Almost all of
r-cran-* and r-bioc-*, as these architectures are not supported
upstream). I understand that requests are made by opening bugs on the
ftpmaster.debian.org pseudo-package, but before I start I would like to
ask you about your preference:
- One bug per package;
- fewer bugs, covering batches of packages;
- one single bug covering all the packages at once.
Please let me know your preference, on my side it probalby does
not make a big difference are bug submission can be scripted.
Have a nice week-end,
Charles
