Bug#1062765: ITP: mailctl -- IMAP/SMTP clients with the capabilities of renewal and authorization of OAuth2 credentials

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: ChangZhuo Chen (陳昌倬) <czchen@debian.org>
X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-devel@lists.debian.org

* Package name    : mailctl
  Version         : 0.9.2
  Upstream Contact: Peter Dobsan
* URL             : https://github.com/pdobsan/mailctl
* License         : BSD-3-Clause
  Programming Lang: Haskell
  Description : IMAP/SMTP clients with the capabilities of renewal and authorization of OAuth2 credentials

 mailctl provides IMAP/SMTP clients with the capabilities of renewal and
 authorization of OAuth2 credentials.

 The Oauth2 credentials are kept in the Gnome keyring or in GNU PG
 encrypted files.

 Many IMAP/SMTP clients, like msmtp, fdm, isync, neomutt or mutt can use
 OAuth2 access tokens but lack the ability to renew and/or authorize
 OAuth2 credentials. The purpose of mailctl is to provide these missing
 capabilities by acting as a kind of smart password manager. In
 particular, access token renewal happens automatically in the
 background transparent to the user.

The package will be maintained under the umbrella of the Debian Haskell
team.
