  Description     : scrape Prometheus metrics from inside the app

 Intended when writing Prometheus exporters and wanting to test them
 from the command line. This avoids needing to start the daemon, run curl
 to fetch the metrics, then kill it.


This is a dependency for prometheus-process-exporter, which was previously
vendored and got unvendored upstream. I've got the packaging which I'll
provide as an MR once this bug has been filed.

The upstream repo has no license, and I've submitted an issue to get
that clarified, but that is not so different from the current situation
where that package is vendored and it does not contain an explicit
license anyway. Of course I don't expect this to be uploaded until that
issue has been resolved.
