It is a dependency of HedgeDoc (early name was CodiMD).The source link

of the project is https://github.com/codimd 

The upstream of this chance is developed by Victor Quinn  and licensed

under Expat license.The upstream is available at

https://github.com/chancejs/chancejs

This debian package will be maintained by Debian _javascript_  Team.

I think this chance will be helpful for Debian _javascript_ team .
