Figuring out how this is going to be deployed as Debian infrastructure
is indeed at an early stage.

I don't think it is accurate to think of the whole project as being at
an early stage.  From my perspective, the hardest problem to solve was
conversion of git trees to uploads, on the server side, in a way that is
user friendly.  We take ourselves to have solved that problem, which to
my mind renders this project beyond the early stages of development.
