Dear Maintainer,

   I installed Debian...

   Under advanced settings I tried to press the + beside the number of
desktops, it would not go higher than 2. I tried entering a number like 8 and
then it changed back to 2

I was expecting 8 desktops

Not a bug. In GNOME Shell desktops are created dynamically.
