NOTE about the package name:

 This project is a friendship project between the MATE developers and
 the GNOME developers and the upstream code is maintained by the MATE
 developers on git.gnome.org.
 .
 Due to this, the name gnome-main-menu has been kept, but the package
 is a package for the MATE desktop environment.
 .
 The bin:package in Debian will be named mate-gnome-main-menu-applet.
