 SkyCat is a tool that combines visualization of images and access to
catalogs
 and archive data for astronomy.

The development and maintenance of the package by ESO has been stopped
since a few years. However, a fork exists [1] that is under maintenance
by Starlink [2]. This fork will be used for the package. Despite of its
age, there is still some interest by astronomers on this package.
