Backports seems a way to me, though volatile maybe as > well, IMO. Apparently it takes long to die/bury, but volatile as a separate thing does not exist (anymore). It was replaced by a speedy way to bring updates to stable users instead of an overlay with a different update policy. Kind regards Philipp Kern
