correct, that's what I meant.

We may end up with multiple indirection layers to support user choice,
but that shouldn't be the goal; the goal should be to test the options
in unstable, and figure out, as a project, what the best option is given
our requirements.

I don't expect many users to use anything except the default init system
in Debian. Anyone who thinks we need to support that level of choice
either has an agenda, or is delusional.
