*cough* Its indeed undocumented currently. I will fix that soonish
(but help with that is very welcome of course :). I did a bunch of
fixes in my branch based on the feedback from Peter Palfrader (and my
own testing). The client side should be in reasonable shape now (the
current code is working as well, its just missing some stuff like
displaying the mirror in use etc). The fixes will be part of the next
apt upload.

I'm fine mentoting the client side, not sure that there is enough work
on the client to justify a full SoC. Maybe it can be combined with the
server work.
