Re: cdn.debian.net as a project service?



Michael and Stefano,

I agree for making GSoC proposal.
Could you write it for client-side apt modification?


I understand we need client side apt optimization.
New apt client can use more optimized protocol than HTTP/FTP.

However,
I think server side mirror selection is still important.
Because, server side mirror selection help for
- initial system installation.
- current and old debian.
- user under NAT
- user under restricted network.

I try to write GSoC proposal for serer-side cdn.debian.net modification.
