I understand it completely. I appreciate the time and effort that goes into
packaging. There are real life issues that are usually more important than
volunteering work like Deian.

I had no idea this was the case. I will try to compile gerris and see if I can
have any success with it. Thanks for the response.

I have not tried it. I did not want to duplicate the same work. But I wil try
it now and see if a patch can be submitted.

I just did not want gerris to be abandoned. I wanted to take over it only if
you were MIA. Now that you are back into action, I do not want to take over.
However, I would like to help in whatever way I can. We can definitely use
your experience in packaging this software.
