Sorry Marco, but even under Windows, there are many Drivers missing
for Hardware.  You need the from the hardware manufacturers DriverCD.

Why should Debian care about it?

If you like to see $USER using Hardware, you know they have the
DriverCD and you can create a wraper or loader for the hardware.

I have done this for two enterprises here in Strasbourg and I use
"cabextract" to get the Firmwares out of the Windows-installer.
