I would suggest at least taking a look at Ruby on Rails
(http://www.rubyonrails.org). I've heard interesting things about the
language, and the Rails framework appears to be suited to rapid application
development, and there's a solid unit testing framework available. I
wouldn't necessarily sell everything else down the river for it, but if
you're assessing new technologies, it's definitely worth a look.
