Hello. I have been asked to evaluate linux as a possible os for some of our embedded products, most of which are using SH processors. I have been following a guide (http://www.aandd.co.jp/dvhome/linuxsh/buildproc/2.4.18/20040412/buildproc_E.html) but with the exception of using an ata/ide flash disk on which to install linux. The guide has helped greatly, however, I cannot seem to get lilo to install the boot information to the pcmcia flash disk (section 7 in above guide). When I attempt to use lilo, it just prints the help text and does nothing. It worked correctly when I installed lilo on my laptop, but doesn’t with the flash disk. Can you give me any ideas?
