Silly question:

Is e.g. kernel-source-2.6.8 2.6.8-15 in sarge really sufficient to
satisfy the GPL requirements for kernel-image-2.6.8-sparc 2.6.8-6 in
sarge built against kernel-source-2.6.8 2.6.8-11?

IANAL, but I'd have said this was a violation GPL section 3 .

"Is there not promise of rain?" Ling Tan asked suddenly out
of the darkness. There had been need of rain for many days.
"Only a promise," Lao Er said.
