Yep. Seconded.
This is exactly what I was thinking while seeing this thread : let's
watch it and learn how my fellow DD and Debian contributors handle
this and improve the (certainly very bad) way I have to handle this
myself.
A few months ago, I got my hands on a few USB encryption keys (or
whatever these things are called....iKey stuff for instance) and
imagined I could store sensitive data there.
I look vaguely at things which are supposed to handle these in Linux
(PC/SC stuff and such things)...but, well, this was quite obscure and
I finally gave up.
But I still have a few of these keys...:-)
