The Social Contract *is* a compromise. You can't reduce it just to
the DFSG.
Earlier this year, Debian even decided to continue support of
non-free. GNU documentation just adds more value to non-free and
helps to blur the line between main and non-free. Our users will vote
with sources.list, and those who use non-free because they want a GNU
system are more likely to install proprietary software, too.
