Description : Set up multilingual X environment
This package is a helper package for the user to set up multilingual
X environment focused on the UTF-8 locale while maintaining full
access to any traditional encodings in the X terminal.
.
The base X locale is set by the user helper script to any
available UTF-8 locales using GDM and KDM conventions. The
keyboard input method is also set by the user helper script
to good defaults through menu. All localized X terminal emulators
are accessed through the Debian menu.
.
This package also helps admin to migrate Debian system to UTF-8
smoothly by ensuring non UTF-8 compatible programs to be run under
the proper traditional locale.
