Why would you install Linux on a PDA? I understand all the geek reasons,
but as a practical tool, Linux programs aren't designed to display
on a PDA screen and aren't generally designed to work on a PDA. The
best tool for the job would be an OS designed for a PDA.

In any case, all the talk about the ARM is really beside my original
point. Even if Linux on ARM is the most popular thing in the world,
that still leaves many architectures in Debian for dead chips and
systems, expensive rare hardware, and systems which just aren't designed
as general purpose computers. But one of the two (three (+IA64)?)
architectures where Microsoft is releasing a full version of Windows,
the architecture my dad (non-geek all the way) uses, and we can't
even get it into sid.

(I think we could release AMD64 with sarge. But I think the amendment
is definitly overreaching there.)
