Not really.  The most common way to use Xprint is with the Xprint
server on the same machine.  There's a (low priority) debconf note
that pops up if you don't have Xprint installed, and a message if you
start mozilla from a shell.  Clearly, the maintainer is aware that
this change will surprise people and that most of the time, people
will want Xprint installed.  Unfortunately, those messages won't be
seen if the user doesn't view low-priority debconf notes and starts
Mozilla from a menu.

A dependency on Xprint to ease the transition sounds appropriate to
me.
