Less than serious. These shell problems are not listed in
http://release.debian.org/sarge_rc_policy.txt, which is the canonical
reference for what constitutes a serious bug for sarge.

Some developers (including myself) do think that the sane approach is to
make policy more permissive here, although the question of where to draw
the line remains outstanding.
