Bug#252289: general: system clock goes chaoticly causing system breakdown

I have the same clock problem. The clock is running too fast...

For me, the main problem is not that the clock is running too fast, but when it sticks in 3 sec and this makes the system unusable and require a reboot. Whether is this an inevitable consequence of the too fast clock ?

$ grep chronyd /var/log/syslog
Jun 3 20:14:04 glorybox chronyd[5026]: System clock wrong by -3.675662 seconds
Jun 3 20:15:09 glorybox chronyd[5026]: System clock wrong by -3.421777 seconds
Jun 3 20:16:13 glorybox chronyd[5026]: System clock wrong by -3.216787 seconds
Jun  3 20:17:17 glorybox chronyd[5026]: System clock wrong by -3.267918 seconds ...

That looks even more inaccuracy then in my case.
