Ask yourself, what is best for users, and debian.
(What is best in life?)
I personally like being able to get some non free packages from the
repositories.
To what benefit would removing it be?
"Better not use debian, because they support non-free."
I like the ease of which I can install packages, both free and non free.
This is a huge selling point to my usage.
Would running non-free prostitute the debian social contract?
Should you be able to get it from the main repositories?
I don't know.
But my opinion is thus, whatever is easiest and most efficient for end
users should be considered important.
