     Thanks, Steve and Colin.  I have switched my madison-lite script
from master to gluck, and all is fine now.  I had used "locate" on
master to find Packages.gz, and used:
   /org/bugs.debian.org/etc/indices/ftp/$2/main/binary-*/Packages.gz,
where $2 is the desired distribution, in my script.
