I am trying barrendero but don't trust it enough yet for production
use. I had worked on an NMU that fixes all bugs and makes the package a
bit more polished, I just reviewed it and uploaded it here:

I haven't contacted the maintainer yet because I was working on other
bugs, but if he is MIA as you seem to be suggesting, I'll probably
upload that NMU to DELAYED quite soon.
