I like the idea of having it. Perhaps not in bsdmainutils directly.

What about a small pkg called debian-events that can be updated separatly
from bsdmainutils and that contain both what Joey already has and future
important events for Debian like conferences, booth and so on.. at that
point it would be much much simpler to update.
