Hi! Just FYI, as others have made comments on this. Here's why your message was tagged as spam by my filter: > X-Spam-Report: 6.50 hits, 5 required; > * -0.1 -- Found a X-Mailing-List header > * -0.0 -- Found a X-Loop header Ok, this is just mailing list stuff > * 2.5 -- mail was tagged as spam by bogofilter This is just bad luck. Bogofilter works by word counting, so false positives are possible. I'm continuously retraining bogofilter, so I expect false positives to decline as the database grows. -rw-r--r-- 1 avbidder avbidder 2822144 Nov 20 09:58 goodlist.db -rw-r--r-- 1 avbidder avbidder 475136 Nov 20 09:58 spamlist.db > * 0.6 -- Sent with 'X-Priority' set to high > * 0.5 -- Sent with 'X-Msmail-Priority' set to high These are often seen in spam, too. > * 0.0 -- 'Received:' has 'may be forged' warning Some problem of your mailer setup? (but as you see, it scores only little) > * 1.1 -- BODY: Message is 50-70% HTML tags This is quite high. > * 0.8 -- BODY: Spamphrases score is 00 to 01 (low) [score: 0] as with bogofilter, tough luck. > * 0.4 -- BODY: A WHOLE LINE OF YELLING DETECTED > * 0.3 -- BODY: FONT Size +2 and up or 3 and up > * 0.3 -- BODY: 3 WHOLE LINES OF YELLING DETECTED > * 0.2 -- BODY: 2 WHOLE LINES OF YELLING DETECTED > * 0.2 -- BODY: Includes a URL link to send an email These all together are rare in normal mail... > * -0.3 -- Short signature present (no empty lines) This is the footer attached by the Debian mailing list manager, I think. Summarized: without the bogofilter false positive, it would have been a 4.0 - high, but no spam. So you can just hope my bogofilter grows better :-) cheers -- vbi -- this email is protected by a digital signature: http://fortytwo.ch/gpg NOTE: keyserver bugs! get my key here: https://fortytwo.ch/gpg/92082481
