I agree, if celestia is in good shape and can be a drop-in replacement. Which seems to be looking at http://www.shatters.net/celestia/, and at packages.debian.org/celestia. Feel free to file a bug against 'ftp.debian.org' asking for its removal. I am curious, however, as to which data files uses celestia. Openuniverse used 'gliese' and/or 'yale' which are both non-free (and celestia seems to be on main) Regards Javi
