[desktop] lilo bootscreen

I've just visited the new Debian Desktop Project website and I realy
like the ideas published there. I'm using Debian on my desktop pc fpor
over a year now and I must say it's the very best OS I've ever had.
Properly installed it runs smoother than all other distros I've tried.

Unfortuntaly it is in many cases a system for experts, that must be
changed. I would like to help you on this project but at the moment I've
not much time. However, some time ago I've created a Debian lilo
bootscreen, perhaps it's interesting. That's not much, but I believe
such small things make desktop computing more fun.

The bootscreen is available on http://debian.newswriter.org (Michael
Renner made a nice deb package for it, which automaticaly patches the
lilo.conf)

I for myself don't use lilo anymore, I'm using grub now. If the patch
for graphical menus will be added to the debian version I will perhaps
create one for it.

Best regards,
Phil
