Package: general
Version: N/A; reported 2002-10-05
Severity: wishlist

Would make it easier if the kernel version installed matched the version
of the source.

Exactly. There is only one big source package (2.4.18) and small source
packages for each kernel-image-2.4.18-foo which contains the
configuration of foo, sometimes few patches and depends on
kernel-source-2.4.18. I do not think that you really expect us to
provide a separate source package for any kernel image.

"apt-get -b source kernel-image-2.4.18-bf2.4" will cook the original
source tree for you.

Gruss/Regards,
Eduard.
