You hit an ssl "login" page (directly, or via redirection from a
failed access) and give a kerberos login, and get back a cookie; the
cookie can then be used for access to other pages.  (Yes, this
approach has issues, but at least it works, and is
browser-independent...  I will add a readme with security-issues
commentary.)
