APIC support. (A number of dell laptops have a buggy bios. There's
supposedly a bios update that fixes this, but I haven't tried it.) Try
booting with "noapic" parameter. E.g., type "linux noapic" at the lilo
prompt, or add "noapic" to the append= line in lilo.conf.
