unespected squid problems

Hi
I just restarted squid after two months of having it running and now it
spawns to childs, one of them eats all the cpu. Anyone having this
problem?
here is a ps auxf:
   root 26204 0.0 0.4 3900 1124 ? S 22:16 0:00
/usr/sbin/squid -D -sYC
   proxy 26207 0.1 1.9 8544 5064 ? S 22:16 0:00 \_
   (squid) -D -sYC
proxy 26208 83.6 0.5 4116 1320 ? R 22:16 3:11 \_
   (squid) -D -sYC

The second child is eating 83.6 % of cpu (mostly all)

Probably I updated squid package while it was running.
The strange thing is that in other machine it doesn't do the same
root 1354 0.0 0.3 3900 1124 ? S 22:11 0:00
   /usr/sbin/squid -D -sYC
proxy 1357 0.1 1.7 8544 5112 ? S 22:11 0:00 \_
   (squid) -D -sYC
proxy 1358 0.0 0.1 1244 304 ? S 22:11 0:00 \_
   (unlinkd)

¿Anyone has a clue why in the other machine it swpawns another squid and
not an unlikd?
Thanks in advance.

Regards.
