in that case, it would be a good idea, IMO, if debian developers asked
upstream authors about CVS access and having the debian/ directory in
it. In cases where upstream agrees, that would be really good for us :-)

I could, for the GNOME CVS, push for that to happen, so if GNOME package
maintainers want to do that, just tell me and I'll try to do whatever I
can.
