I tried it and I like it. Good work. Nevertheless I have two minor suggestions: 1) I maintain a local archive, generated by apt-move. This archive only contains "Packages.gz" files, not uncompressed "Packages". Debian-ammonia complains here, that it cannot find the Packages file. Maybe it can be modified to also look for compressed Packages files? 2) I think the "conflicts cannot be satisfied" messages are pretty useless. It is no problem, if an archive contains conflicting packages, because not all packages of an archive will be installed at once. So maybe the messages about conflicts should be turned of by default? Otherwise I found the program useful. Thanks, Jochen -- Omm (0)-(0) http://www.mathematik.uni-kl.de/~wwwstoch/voss/privat.html
