today announced that it has been awarded a patent from the United States
Patent and Trademark Office for elements of the technology utilized
within its software. The patent, U.S. Patent No. 6,272,536, titled
"System and Method for the Distribution of Code and Data," relates in
part to the automatic distribution and updating of software applications
