Depends on what you mean *by default*. If you run 'X' to start the X server
on the command line, yes, TCP connections are accepted by default. But that
is not typically how the X server is started. If you use xdm, gdm, xinit,
startx, etc., all of them pass -nolisten tcp to the X server in woody.
