Of course - when we steal an idea, we try to steal all of it :-)
The "systune" package is an interface to keeping values persistently
(or rather, resetting them every boot, from a common config file) but
you can look at it for examples like /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_ecn to
which you can echo 0 or 1...
